..Tobie Roach is a Fine Art graduate of California State University Channel Islands. As a student, she received a rare opportunity to travel to Jingdezhen China to the Jingdezhen Ceramic Institute to receive a specialized education in the fine art of porcelain craft.

..
Tobie is currently an award winning resident artist and a Public Art Conservator in Ventura California. She works closely with the department of Cultural Affairs to maintain and create public projects on display throughout the city as part of Ventura’s beautiful Public Art collection.

..The art that Tobie creates is inspired by the inward journey of humanity, the boundlessness of the unknown, and the tangible stillness of the present moment. Her creations are about the process, and about letting go of the need to control an outcome. She has said, “I let go and allow the art to come through me, allowing the creation to be born and then set free”. Her art is what remains, and she offers it to you with great love and great respect.
